2. Approval of minutes of the 9/6/17 meeting.
3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues:
a. Lift stations.
b. Grinder pump stations.
c. Odor issues.
d. Other operational issues.
4. Approval of District bills.
5. Discuss the draft Operation & Maintenance Agreement submitted by Taycheedah Sanitary District #1.
6. Schedule the next meeting.
7. Adjournment.

MINUTES

JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT
MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING
OCTOBER 5, 2017
5:30 P.M.
ST. JOHN'S SCHOOL HALL


Members present: President Franz Schmitz and Commissioners Dennis Lefeber and Ken Schneider. Also present: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider.

1. Call to order. Chairman Schmitz called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

2. Approval of the minutes of the 9/6/17 meeting. Motion by Dennis Lefeber, second by Ken Schneider, to accept the minutes of the September 6th, 2017, meeting as distributed. Motion carried (3-0).

3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues:
a. Lift Station. The September pump run time reports for both lift stations were reviewed. During September, Ken Schneider noticed a few spikes in the pump run time. The cause is unknown. He contacted Doug Sabel. Doug mentioned cleaning the two stations. The Commission questions the need for cleaning at this time.
b. Grinder pump stations. Nothing to report at this time.
c. Odor issues. Periodically Commissioner Schneider notices an odor; however, he has not receive any complaints recently.
d. Other operational issues. The Brian Possin tap of the main along Johnsburg Road is not yet complete.

4. Approval of District bills. Motion by Dennis Lefeber, second by Ken Schneider, to approve the bills, (order nos. 64-70) totaling $426.77, noting the transfer of funds was not necessary this month. Motion carried (3-0).

5. Review the draft Operation & Maintenance Agreement submitted by Taycheedah Sanitary District #1. The Commission consensus is to support an amendment to the existing Agreement that would change the methodology of operation and maintenance costs. Brenda Schneider will compose a resolution.

6. Schedule the next meeting. The next Commission meeting will be conducted on Thursday, November 2nd, at 5:30 p.m., at the Johnsburg School Hall.

7. Adjournment. President Schmitz declared the meeting adjourned at 5:39 p.m.
